Fungal microbiota of Chickens grown with different antioxidant diets

A metabarcoding approach was used to investigate the effect of polyphenols extracted from Oil Mill Waste waters (OMW) on the fungal microbiota of both chicken gut and litter, using two OMW polyphenols extracts and Vitamin E, regarded as the gold standard antioxidant, as a control. The attention has been focused on faecal samples from caecum, excreted faeces and litter.
