These datasets can be used to train a machine learning application to detect CO plumes in augmented TROPOMI level-2 CO concentration data. I used these datasets for that purpose for my thesis project.
The first dataset is the Small dataset, this dataset comprises 2.000 images. Half of these are plumes and half are noise. Half of the plume images are wildfire images and half are industrial plume images.
The second dataset is the Large dataset which comprises more than 19.000 images. About 8.000 of those are wildfire plumes. Half of the dataset is noise and the rest are industrial plumes.
The third dataset is the Industrial set. This dataset comprises about 1.900 images. Half of the dataset is plumes and the other half is noise. The plume images are the industrial plumes from the large dataset.
