Two datasets are included in this record, together constituting the Sea Level Impacts Input Dataset by Elevation, Region, and Scenario (SLIIDERS): SLIIDERS-ECON: Sea Level Impacts Input Dataset by Elevation, Region, and Scenario (SLIIDERS) - Economics. A global dataset representing 17 socioeconomic variables, including capital and population growth trajectories through 2100 for five SSP and two economic growth model scenarios. Defined for 9,087 coastal segments across the globe. These variables are used as inputs to the pyCIAM modeling platform detailed in Depsky et al. 2022. SLIIDERS-SLR: Sea Level Impacts Input Dataset by Elevation, Region, and Scenario (SLIIDERS) - Sea Level Rise. Localized sea level projections between 2010 and 2300 (decadal), based on LocalizeSL (https://github.com/bobkopp/LocalizeSL). Includes 11 sea level rise scenarios spanning low, moderate and high emissions futures, including low-likelihood, high-impact trajectories. Each of these scenarios contain 10,000 probabilistic, Monte Carlo-generated draws. Sites are represented as centroids on a 2-degree grid defined along the world's coastlines. These projections are used as inputs to the pyCIAM modeling platform detailed in Depsky et al. 2022.
