Polyploidization is one of the main mechanisms of plant genome evolution. After the whole-genome duplication the sub- and neofunctionalization together with gene loss lead to a genome reorganization. For many plants this process is asymmetric which causes prevalence of one subgenome both in gene number and expression (genomic dominance). Allotetraploid Capsella bursa-pastoris is a model object of recent polyploidization for which contradictory data on genomic dominance are available. We have created an RNA-seq based time series of Capsella shoot apical meristems and leaves covering floral transition in order to analyze the interaction between homeologous genes in dynamics. The differential expression analysis of homeologs showed 14-19% of homeologous pairs with significant difference in expression. The number of upregulated homeologs A and B was almost equal; this was confirmed by the comparison of homeologous expression profiles. In gene regulatory network controlling transition to flowering the number of higher expressed homeologs A and B was similar and the prevalently expressed homeologs were not organized in gene cascades.
