Baknae is emerging disease of rice in India. All the basmati varieties are susceptible to the disease. Rasi genotype is most susceptible to the disease and genotype C101A51 was identified resistant. Therefore, to identify the resistance related genes/enzymes expression pattern these genotypes were inoculated with virulent isolate (F250) of Fusarium fujikuroi and transcriptome analysis was conducted.
