Maize LOB30 is a transcription factor and is specifically expressed in anthers. To identify the downstream target genes of LOB30, transgenic maize anthers expressing the fused protein GFP-LOB30 driven by its native promoter were collected and crosslinked. The GFP antibody was used for chromatin immunoprecipitation.
