Deaths caused by myelodysplastic syndrome in Spain 2005-2021

In Spain, the annual number of deaths caused by myelodysplastic syndrome experienced an overall uptrend from 2005 to 2021. The number of fatal cases due to this type of cancer amounted to 1,118 deaths in the last featured year, down from 1,173 deaths reported a year prior. Moreover, the deaths related to myelodysplastic syndrome affected more men than women in the European country.
