Malnutrition data (malnutrition data from UN)

Malnutrition data from the UNICEF Data Warehouse contains two variables collected across 77 countries between 1985 and 2019: stunting and prevalence of low birth weight. Stunting is defined as the proportion of children aged 0 to 59 months with height-for-age z-scores below two standard deviations. The stunting dataset is a sparsely sampled functional case, with 4 to 23 records per country. The low birth weight dataset is a partially sparse case, with valid records only available during the 2000–2015 period. This dataset can be applied to functional data analysis and sparse functional data fitting.
