Rumen microbiota of Inner Mongolia white cashmere goats

Eighteen 2-year-old Inner Mongolia white cashmere goat rams with similar body weights were randomly divided into two groups (n = 9). The control group received no added selenium, while the treatment group had yeast selenium added to their feed. After a 5-day adaptation period, a 30-day experimental period followed, which rumen fluid was collected for 16S rRNA sequencing.
