Data and R code used in Barry, Hennecke et al. "Rooting for function: Community-level fine-root traits relate to many ecosystem functions"

This upload contain the following files: Predictions.csv: Hypotheses for the trait-functioning relationships to colour code in figures. RCode.R: R markdown file that includes the code for statistical analyses and plotting. Species_data.csv: Dataset with plant species abundance and mean trait values from the gRooT database and additional data from Weigelt et al. (2021, New Phytologist). Functions.R: Functions for plotting to be used in R. Functions_data.csv: Dataset with ecosystem functioning data. Graphing_variables.csv: Settings for plotting to be used in R. Metadata.txt: Metdadata file for the datasets 'Function_data.csv' and 'Species_data.csv'.
