Coastal topo-bathymetric NTM of Passion Island - Clipperton

The coastal topo-bathymetric NTM of Île de La Passion – Clipperton at a resolution of 20 m was carried out using bathymetric and topographic data acquired between 2012 and 2015 by Shom and the PASSION programme team. The coastal grid at 20 m includes the atoll of La Passion – Clipperton and its immediate flanks up to about 1500 m deep. La Passion Island - Clipperton, located in the East Pacific Ocean, is an uninhabited atoll isolated more than 5000 km from Tahiti in French Polynesia and more than 1000 km from the Mexican coast. The island is the highest point, and the only one that has emerged, of Clipperton Ridge. It is the only coral atoll in the eastern Pacific located in the northern hemisphere, at 109° west longitude and 10° north latitude.
