ShareThis is powered by consumer behavior on more than three million global domains, representing over 40 billion events (searches, page visits, likes, and shares) each month. We collect identifiers like IP address, user-data like browser type, and content information such as URLs, to create a record of real-time actions from real people on real digital destinations. We then leverage advanced data science and AI, analyzing context, keywords, concepts, geolocation and more, to synthesize from these digital observations a constantly-refreshed stream of social share, interest, and intent data. In fact, we produce both event and user-level data products to help marketers understand consumer behaviors. This comprehensive understanding of the consumer allows us to impact every aspect of marketing, from planning and insights, through targeting and activation, to measurement. The data can be made available in several ways: - **Data Feeds:** are granular events level data that is, by definition, unaggregated. These can be delivered on an “as is” basis (visitation data that is directly collected), or on an “enriched” basis (with additional qualifiers such as contextual relevance, sentiment, etc.). Feeds can be curated and customized to suit client needs. - **Predictors:** Probabilistic measures of future online engagement, based on recent and frequent content consumption.. These are predicated on deterministic seed datasets that showcase the relevant outcome behavior, and can be used to predict site visitation or in models to predict future purchase behavior or other online or offline activities. - **Psychographics:** Measures the state of enduring interest in a category. These users are among the most frequent visitors to a category, and are highly likely to continue engaging with the category in the future. - **Audience Segments:** these audiences can be provisioned based on binary site or category level visitation. These categories can be syndicated in nature (ShareThis has over 1,500 such segments already predefined), or can be created based on client-defined criteria. Segments are integrated within the DSP ecosystem for programmatic targeting and activation. ShareThis data are leveraged across the entire value chain: - Planning and Insights: audience creation, insights, segmentation and forecasting - Targeting and Activation: on-target performance, personalization and survey spawning - Measurement: audience characteristics, as well as purchase/visitation intent From a matching perspective, many clients prefer to leverage our identity capabilities and conduct matches with us on a direct basis; matching criteria include IPs, HEMs, MAIDs, and Cookies. Alternatively, clients can match indirectly via our many partnerships, including Eyeota, ID5, Lotame, MediaMath, Nielsen, UID, Xandr, Experian, LiveRamp and Transunion.
