This study provides a comparative quantitative analysis of inbound tourism performance and tourists’ revealed preferences in Germany and Uzbekistan using World Bank data for the period 2018–2019. The analysis examines key indicators, including inbound tourist arrivals, tourism receipts, transport-related expenditures, and average tourism spending per tourist. The results reveal significant differences between the two countries, reflecting Germany’s position as a mature tourism destination and Uzbekistan’s status as an emerging market. In addition to identifying quantitative disparities, the study highlights differences in tourism consumption patterns and spending behaviour.
