Data - Winter Behaviour and Energetics of Free-Swimming Largemouth Bass

Datafiles included in this collection correspond to data collected from the biologger implanted largemouth bass described in the manuscript entitled, "Winter Behaviour and Energetics of Free-Swimming Largemouth Bass". The datafile, "techno_data", corresponds to TechnoSmArt implanted largemouth bass whereas the datafile, "star_data", corresponds to Star Oddi implanted largemouth bass. The datafile DO_data contains data collected by dissolved oxygen and temperature loggers positioned in the large basin of the lake. The datafile, "bioenergetics data" contains metabolic rate data that was used in the  bioenergetics simulations. Note that in this file metabolic rate is displayed as mgO2/g/h and in calories as this format was required for the derivation of bioenergetics coefficients and for the later simulations. Additionally, the column, "close_recap", refers to those individuals that were released in the fall and recaptured the following spring (see manuscript Methods for more details).
