Supporting data for "Climate Intervention through Stratospheric Aerosol Injection may partially mitigate marine heatwaves"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains marine heatwave (MHW) metrics derived from sea surface temperature observations and different simulations of the Community Earth System Model, version 2 (CESM2): SP2-4.5, ARISE-SAI-1.5, and ARISE-SAI-1. The full data description and the MHW process detection are described in Kounta, L., Luo, L., Anil, G., Hueholt, D.M., Harrison, C.S., Visioni, D., Tye, M.R., Felgenhauer, T., Gaye, A.T., and Zarnetske, P.L. <accepted>. Climate Intervention through Stratospheric Aerosol Injection may partially mitigate marine. Environmental Research: Climate. The naming convention is as follows: <source>_<baseline>_<period>_<metric>_by_ensemble.tif, where <source> is: A15 for ARISE-SAI-1.5, A10 for ARISE-SAI-1.0, ssp for SSP2-4.5, HIS for CESM2 historical simulation, and obs for observational data. <baseline> refers to the baseline used for MHW detection: fb for a fixed baseline using 1983-2012 as a climatological period, and sb for a shifted baseline with a 30-year moving period relative to the year. <period> is the averaged period and <metric> refers to the MHW metric: frequency (events per year), maximum intensity (degrees Celsius), or duration (days).
