Supplementary data to: From the 8.2 ka event to the Little Ice Age: Holocene cold periods and human impact recorded in alpine glaciofluvial peatlands (Silvretta mountains, Switzerland)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset is supplementary to the publication with the preliminary title "From the 8.2 ka event to the Little Ice Age: Alpine glaciofluvial peatlands as archives of Holocene cold periods and human impact (Silvretta mountains, Switzerland)" by the authors Clemens von Scheffer, François De Vleeschouwer, Gaël Le Roux and Ingmar Unkel. The study analysed peat cores from the upper Fimba Valley, Switzerland. This file contains the relevant quantitative data from ICP-MS and semi-quantitative portable X-ray fluorescence (XRF) data in the Lower Las Gondas peat core sequence and XRF core-scanning data in the Marmot Mire peat core sequence. The portable XRF-data can be transformed into quantitative data by using conversion formulas given in the published article. This dataset also contains concentrations of a selection of elements in relevant Certified Reference Materials (CRMs), measured along with the samples: the certified values, the raw values measured with portable XRF (xPRF), and the values measured with Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS).
