Pine Sap on a Tree - The Story of a Photograph
The data further expands on the theory of Synchronicity and how Synchronicity can bring us in contact with meaningful images that resonate with us because the symbols behind the imagery are a visual answer to the mental state surrounding us at the time. The paper shows a photograph that came to me by chance because of mental concerns I had at the time (in the late 1960's or early 1970's). It describes that seeing the image at first glance was not as useful as seeing a photographic print of the image because the photographic image allowed for further research into the meaning of the symbols involved. The paper and the references I provide in the paper demonstrate how it is possible to use the camera like a mirror of our inner selves in order to better understand what is going on in our lives and resolve problems that we may not be aware of. The concept led to my research and development for using Synchronicity Systems in order to help gain additional insight into the photographic image and an understanding as to what was going on in the life of an artist of photographer at the time a visual image was made.
