This record relates to the construction of the World War II Port Jackson defence net/boom. The net/boom was constructed as an anti-torpedo and submarine defence net. It spanned the entire width of Sydney harbour from Green Point, Watsons Bay to Georges Head, on the northern side of the Harbour. The file contains plans, calculations, field sketches, design quantities and estimates.
