Copper mine production volume in Africa 2021, by country

The Democratic Republic of the Congo produced around 1.88 million metric tons of copper in 2021, becoming the leading producing country of copper in Africa. Zambia was the second largest producer of copper in the continent that year, at some 880.8 thousand metric tons.
