The main goal of our project was to analyse Staphylococcus aureus population in the University Hospital Brno. We analysed 930 S. aureus isolates using mini-MLST to determined melting types (MelTs). For WGS we chose 55 S. aureus isolates from predominant MelT and 2+2 isolates from two distinct MelTs to determine the SNV distance between related and nonrelated isolates.
