Fast Planar Near-Field Measurements of Reduced Angular Pattern Domains (DATASETS)

The datasets used in the experimental validation example presented in Section IV.C are available in this repository: 28GHz_RegValues.mat: reference measurements acquired on a regular planar sampling grid at 28 GHz. 28GHz_OptValues.mat: measurements acquired on the optimized reduced sampling grid at 28 GHz. 38GHz_RegValues.mat: reference measurements acquired on a regular planar sampling grid at 38 GHz. 38GHz_OptValues.mat: measurements acquired on the optimized reduced sampling grid at 38 GHz. Each dataset contains the following variables: Ex_*: complex-valued x-polarized electric-field component (E_x) (V/m), measured on the acquisition plane located at a distance (z = 1 m) from the Antenna Under Test (AUT). Ey_*: complex-valued y-polarized electric-field component (E_y) (V/m), measured on the acquisition plane located at a distance (z = 1 m) from the AUT. X_*: x-coordinates of the measurement points on the acquisition plane, expressed in units of wavelength (λ). Y_*: y-coordinates of the measurement points on the acquisition plane, expressed in units of wavelength (λ). The symbol * may be either Reg or Opt, depending on the dataset. Coordinates are normalized to the wavelength, i.e., (X = x/λ) and (Y = y/λ).
