1. Introduction
This ambulance vehicle detection dataset is a binary-labeled image dataset aimed at training and evaluating computer vision models to distinguish ambulances from non-ambulances in real-world traffic environments. The images are sourced from multiple traffic scenes, covering roads, intersections, highways, urban streets and other scenarios. Ambulance images include variations in angles, lighting, weather conditions and backgrounds. Non-ambulance images contain various common vehicles such as sedans, trucks and others. The environmental conditions of the two types of images are similar to avoid category bias, and the dataset has a balanced class distribution.
