After assembly, BLAST (version v2.2.26) alignment with five public databases, including NR (NCBI non-redundant protein sequences), NT (NCBI nucleotide sequences), Swiss-Prot, KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes), and KOG (euKaryotic Orthology Groups), was performed, and the best aligning results were used to decide sequence direction of unigenes.
