The study on the characteristics, adaptability, and value enhancement of Thanh Nhan (Dimorcapus longan) in Bac Lieu

"Thanh Nhan Bac Lieu" is a premium longan variety originally discovered in the marginal coastal sandy zone of Hiep Thanh Ward, Bac Lieu City. It emerged as a spontaneous mutation around 1994 in a local longan grove owned by Ms. Tran Kieu, who is widely known as "Ba Thanh". She successfully propagated the variety through grafting, and the name "Thanh Nhan" (meaning "Thanh's longan") is derived from her name.
