This dataset folder is used for replication and extension analysis of the paper - Home-price subsidies increase local-level political participation in urban India, published in the Journal of Politics by Tanu Kumar. The original paper investigated the impact of a home-price subsidies based on lottery results on individual's political participation in Mumbai, India. The extension analysis investigated potential mediation effects that can explain the impact of home-price subsidies on local political participation.
