Bacillus sp. (in: firmicutes) Genome sequencing and assembly

Bacterial strains of the genus Bacillus, isolated from salt-affected arid soils and screened for multi-stress tolerance, are the focus of this project. Their stress-adaptive functional traits and genomic determinants are characterized to provide insight into microbial survival strategies in extreme environments.
