This study employs hepatic-specific Usp2 knockout mice (Usp2-LKO) and wild-type C57BL/6 mice to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the role of the Usp2 gene in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Through RNA sequencing and functional analyses, this research aims to elucidate how Usp2 regulates hepatic lipid metabolism, inflammation, and fibrosis, providing insights into its potential as a therapeutic target for MASLD.
