Reproducibility package for "Association between early right-heart echocardiographic abnormality burden and late-onset acute kidney injury in critically ill adults: a retrospective cohort study"

This repository contains the reproducibility materials supporting the manuscript entitled “Association between early right-heart echocardiographic abnormality burden and late-onset acute kidney injury in critically ill adults: a retrospective cohort study.” The package includes cleaned Python and R scripts for data preparation, cohort construction, derivation of the investigator-defined composite right-heart abnormality burden measure, late-onset acute kidney injury ascertainment, primary regression analyses, sensitivity analyses, secondary analyses, and figure generation. It also includes variable definitions, echocardiographic recoding rules, workflow documentation, and non-identifiable aggregate outputs supporting the reported results. No patient-level MIMIC-IV or MIMIC-IV-ECHO data are included in this repository. The source data are controlled-access resources available to credentialed researchers through PhysioNet after completion of the required training and execution of the relevant Data Use Agreement. The authors are not permitted to redistribute the original or derived patient-level data. These materials are provided to facilitate transparent reporting, methodological review, and independent reproduction of the analyses by appropriately credentialed researchers.
