Genome sequencing of Carabus blaptoides

We performed whole genome sequencing on Carabus blaptoides fortunei with the goal of identifying genes associated with adaptive morphology in thebeetle. We performed PE sequencing with insert lengths of 180 bp and 500 bp and MP sequencing with insert lengths of 2.5 kb, 3.5 kb, 4.5 kb, 7 kb, 11kb and 20 kb. We also performed long read sequencing using PacBio RS. De novo genome assembly was performed using the obtained sequences.
