资源简介:

Overview As part of the TEAMx campaign, an RPG HATPRO-G5 microwave radiometer (MWR) was deployed in Radfeld (Inn Valley Target Area, IVTA), Austria, from 12 June 2025 to 8 September 2025. This repository provides the dataset collected during this deployment. More information on TEAMx can be found here. Microwave radiometer: RPG HATPRO-G5Location: 47.458999, 11.932239 (Radfeld, Austria)Altitude: 510 m a.s.l.Time period: 12 June 2025 to 8 September 2025 Owner: Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology MeteoSwiss, SwitzerlandContact: Rebecca Gugerli, Maxime Hervo This campaign was meant to run for about a year. However, the first MWR deployed at the site (RPG HATPRO-G2) in October 2024 exhibited poor data quality. Therefore, only data from the newer microwave radiometer (G5), deployed on 21 May 2025, are provided. Although the instrument was installed in May, data are only available from 12 June 2025 onward because the MWR could not be calibrated before that date due to logistical challenges. The instrument remained operational until it was dismantled on 8 September 2025. If you have any questions about the dataset, please do not hesitate to contact us. Data description All files are provided in NetCDF format. Binary files can be provided upon request. Processed temperature and humidity profiles:● TPB: Temperature Profile Chart (Boundary Layer, not filtered for rain contamination)● TPC: Temperature Profile Chart (Full Trop., not filtered for rain contamination)● HPC: Humidity Profile Chart Other files:● BRT: Brightness temperatures (single angle)● BLB / BLS: Brightness temperatures from multi-angle elevation scans● HKD: Housekeeping data● IRT: Infrared radiometer brightness temperatures● MET: Meteorological sensor data● ATN: Atmospheric Attenuation● LWP: Liquid Water Path● IWV: Integrated Water Vapour● OLC: Oxygen Line Chart● WVL: Water Vapour Line Chart● LPR: Liquid water profile chart● STA: Stability Indices● CBH: Cloud Base Height● VLT: Channel voltage file For more information on the data format and file naming conventions, please refer to the RPG-HATPRO Operating Manual: https://www.radiometer-physics.de/download/PDF/Radiometers/HATPRO/Operating_manual.pdf Acknowledgements A successful field campaign is the result of the efforts of many people working behind the scenes. We would like to thank the Klärwerk in Radfeld for allowing us to deploy the instrument on their premises. We also thank the remote-sensing technical (Philipp Bättig, Daniel Bugnon and Ludovic Renaud) and administrative (Valérie Brulhart) team at MeteoSwiss for preparing (incl. custom documents), deploying, and dismantling the instrument. Last but not least, we thank Beth Saunders, Philipp Vettori, and Alexander Gohm from the University of Innsbruck for their support during the deployment and on-site calibration.
