o obtain the role of neuropeptide in the locomotor activity of sea cucumbers, here we have evaluated the effect of a neuropeptide on locomotory performance in A. japonicus. Meanwhile, metabolism of longitudinal muscle tissue was detected by ultra performance liquid chromatography and quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS) to investigate the potential physiological mechanisms underlying the effect.
