Measurement of the elastic constants by ultrasonic pulse-echo method in anisotropic materials

This procedure tries to simulate the elastic properties of materials based on measurements in preferred wave propagation directions. Test specimens were used to measure propagation velocity in different axes by the ultrasonic method in the pulse-echo technique. Measurements made by ultrasound made it possible to measure the tensile components of elastic constants with significant variations according to the composition of the materials. The results of the measurements were compared with the values obtained by other authors in similar materials. The elastic constants were obtained through their association with the propagation velocity relations in different directions in the study material. The results shows the values of the measured elastic constants [GPa] by means of the ultrasonic velocity measurement test whose values for each direction for the different materials tested.
本实验流程基于特定波传播方向下的实测数据,模拟材料的弹性性能。实验采用脉冲回波技术(pulse-echo technique),通过测试试样以超声法测定不同轴向的波传播速度。超声测量可实现弹性常数拉伸分量的测定,且该分量会随材料成分呈现显著差异。本次测量结果与其他研究者针对同类材料所得的数值进行了对比。弹性常数可通过其与受试材料不同方向的波传播速度关系推导得到。本研究结果给出了通过超声速度测量实验测得的弹性常数(单位:GPa),涵盖各受试材料在不同传播方向下的对应数值。
