Identification and analysis of AhDOG gene family in peanut (Arachis hypogaea)
收藏资源简介:
DOG1 (delay of germination 1) is a type of transcription factor that plays a key role in seed dormancy and responses to abiotic stress. However, the characteristics of this gene family in peanut (Arachis hypogaea) remain unclear. Through bioinformatics analysis, 44 AhDOG members were identified in the whole genome of peanut. They are distributed across 17 chromosomes and are relatively evolutionarily conserved. Phylogenetic analysis indicates that they are distantly related to their homologs in Arabidopsis thaliana. Transcriptome expression profiling further screened several AhDOG genes that are active during seed development and exhibit differential expression patterns under drought, salt, and waterlogging stresses. This study provides the first systematic analysis of the genome-wide characteristics of the DOG gene family in peanut and its association with abiotic stress, offering a reference for future research on the role of this gene family in peanut stress resistance.
