Educational reforms are always aimed at achieving high levels of development and progress. In the modern world, it is essential that national education reforms be implemented in parallel with the latest achievements of global experience. Many countries have accumulated significant experience in the field of educational innovation and technological development. Among them, Japan stands out as one of the most successful examples. This article analyzes Japan’s experience in implementing innovative technologies in the education system and highlights the key factors behind its success. Particular attention is paid to the role of government support, financial investment, technopolises, innovation clusters, and the integration of national values into the education system. The study also examines the relationship between innovation policy and higher education development in Japan. The results demonstrate that the Japanese model of innovation-driven education can serve as a valuable example for other countries seeking to modernize their educational systems and strengthen their innovation capacity.
