In this study, we performed whole-genome sequencing of 154 Escherichia coli isolates from a poultry farm and abattoir in the Shandong province of China. Samples were taken from human, chicken and environmental sources. Samples were collected over two chicken rearing cycles with three timepoints in each cycle. Overall the isolates were diverse, covering eight phylogroups (A, B1, C, D, E, F, G, Clade I) and 52 difference sequence types. All isolates were subjected to antibiotic susceptibility testing against a panel of 28 antibiotics.
