Progress in dual-comb spectroscopy

Dual Comb Spectroscopy (DCS) based on optical frequency comb has the advantages of high resolution, high sensitivity, wide spectral coverage and fast measurement; In recent years, DCS has developed rapidly, and new principles, methods, technologies and applications are emerging. It is extremely necessary to systematically sort out its development status and objectively comment on its future development trend. In order to provide reference for relevant scientific and technical personnel when grasping the overall development of DCS, starting from the optical comb and taking the asynchronous optical sampling principle and noise characteristics as the main line, the measurement principle, implementation scheme, performance indicators, application technology, instrumentation, and possible future development trend of DCS are comprehensively reviewed and predicted.
