资源简介:
Each file is one tonal "snippet," as described in our paper (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/606673v11). In brief, a snippet is a 2-s, 16-channel, 192-kHz WAV file for 16 hydrophones listening to an artificial tonal sound played at a particular source location in the Exhibit Pool (EP) of the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland. The specific geometries of the hydrophones and tonal source locations are given in the paper (refer to Figure 1, Table 1, and Table 3).
Each filename string consists of several sub-strings separated by underscores. In general, tonal parameter names are followed by their snippet-specific values. Below, we clarify segments of the string in turn, where X's denote variable value characters. See Table 2 and the accompanying text for further explanation of the tonals and their parameters.
"extracted_whistle_XXXXX": Common file header followed by date of snippet collection, given in a MMDDYY format.
"ptXX": Indicates the source location inside the EP where the tonal was played. XX takes values 01 to 14. See Table 3 of the attached paper for corresponding three-dimensional source coordinates.
"count_XXX": Discrete identifier of which of the 127 created tonals was played (which is characterized by the subsequent parameter values). XXX takes values 000 to 127.
"cycles_X": Number of a tonal's cycles in time-frequency space. X takes a value from {1, 2}.
"dur_X": Duration of a tonal in seconds. X takes a value from {0.3, 1}.
"oscamp_XXXX": Amplitude of a tonal's frequency sweep in Hertz. X takes a value from {2000, 5000}.
"centerfreq_XXXX[X]": Center/average frequency of a tonal in Hertz. X takes a value from {6000, 105000}.
"tailpercent_XXX[X]": Percentage of a tonal's beginning and end over which tonal intensity onset and offset, respectively, occurred. X takes a value from {0.1, 0.25}.
"phase_XXXXXX[X]": A tonal's phase at onset. X takes a value from {-1.5708, 1.5708}.
"shift_000000": Obsolete parameter.
Lastly, we note that the order of the 16 channels in the snippet WAV's do not map directly to the hydrophone numbers given in Table 1. The mapping is as follows:
Hydrophone 1 <-> Channel 8
Hydrophone 2 <-> Channel 6
Hydrophone 3 <-> Channel 7
Hydrophone 4 <-> Channel 5
Hydrophone 5 <-> Channel 1
Hydrophone 6 <-> Channel 3
Hydrophone 7 <-> Channel 2
Hydrophone 8 <-> Channel 4
Hydrophone 9 <-> Channel 12
Hydrophone 10 <-> Channel 10
Hydrophone 11 <-> Channel 11
Hydrophone 12 <->Channel 9
Hydrophone 13 <-> Channel 16
Hydrophone 14 <-> Channel 15
Hydrophone 15 <-> Channel 14
Hydrophone 16 <-> Channel 13
