Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi form symbiotic associations with most crop plant species in agricultural ecosystems and are conspicuously influenced by different agricultural practices. To understand the impact of compost addition on AM fungi, we examined the effect of two compost types (cow manure and food waste compost) on the diversity of AMF communities at the mature stage of sweet corn in a 1-year compost addition experiment system.
