Phytoplankton and zooplankton data from bottle and nets casts in the coastal North Pacific (180-limit) from the OSHORO MARU by the Faculty of Fisheries/Hokkaido University from 23 April 1967 to 25 April 1967 (NODC Accession 0000503)

Phytoplankton and zooplankton data were collected from the OSHORO MARU in the coastal North Pacific (limit-180) from 23 April 1967 to 25 April 1967. Phytoplankton were obtained from bottle casts and data include taxonomic names, taxonomic counts, and chlorophyll (a,b) concentrations. Zooplankton were obtained employing vertical net casts and data include sample depths, wet weights, and dry weights. Data were submitted by the Faculty of Fisheries/Hokkaido University as comma-delimited ascii text in an comma separated value (.csv) format. Additional funding for digitizing historic data were provided by the Global Ocean Data Archaeology and Rescue (GODAR) project.
