Simulated Transition Region Geometries of Composite Open-Section Cylindrical Booms

The data includes 2 documents:
1. Nodal Coordinates of Cross-Sections from the Validation Set.csv: For the validation set, nodal coordinates are provided for cross-sections spaced at 0.25 m intervals along the boom, ranging from the flattened end to a location 3 m from it. Each cross-section contains 31 nodes. The first column lists the node number, with 31 nodes forming one group. The second and third columns give the y- and z‑coordinates of the nodes before deformation, while the fourth and fifth columns give the corresponding coordinates after deformation.
2. Transition Region Geometries from 45 Simulation Sets with Varied Structural Parameters.xlsx: Simulation results of transition region cross‑sectional geometries from 45 simulation sets with varied structural parameters are included. For each set, the transition region length, its ratio to the boom total length, and the value of the geometric model parameter p1 are provided.
