Global studies of microbial diversity on anaerobic digestion

In this work, bacterial populations present in samples taken from different points of an industrial anaerobic digestion fed with sewage sluge was characterized. Relative abundance of phyla and classes throughout the biological process and the subsequent separation stes were determined. In this sense, the samples analized were the following: i) sample before anaerobic digestion, ii) digestate, iii) liquid before decanting (clarified), iv) solid fraction (sludge after centrifugation) and iv) decanted supernatant
