Genomic characterization of EPEC, ETEC and EAEC from diarrhea patients in India. Escherichia coli

We sequenced the genomes of 35 pathogenic Escherichia coli strains isolated from diarrhea patients in India. The genome information obtained was then combined with genome data of pathogenic Escherichia coli strains from India available in public databases, and a profile of pathogenic genes and antimicrobial resistance genes was compiled.
