资源简介:
This position paper is an executive summary of the Canvas Model — a unified framework where spacetime, quantum fields, and gravity emerge from wave intersections on a pre-geometric canvas.
It is not a technical derivation. It is an overview — a guide to understanding what the model claims, what it derives, what it allows, what it predicts, what it solves, and how it compares to other frameworks.
What this position paper does:
· Summarizes the model's postulates and core equations· Lists what the model derives from first principles (Einstein, Maxwell, Yang-Mills, Schrödinger, Dirac, Born rule, three generations, spin-statistics, gauge group SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1), Newton, Navier-Stokes, ideal gas law, speed of sound)· Presents four century-scale open problems the model has solved as standalone papers: the origin of the Born rule (100 years, since 1926), the convergence of Regge calculus to general relativity (65 years, since 1961), the well-posedness of classical particle-field dynamics (120 years, since 1905), and the failure of singularity theorems on discrete spacetimes (60 years, since 1965)· Shows what the model derives and allows (derivation and 100% compatibility with over 50 phenomena across QM, GR, QFT, the Standard Model, condensed matter, atomic & optical, nuclear, black hole physics, cosmology, and classical physics)· Compares the Canvas Model with other frameworks (string theory, loop quantum gravity, causal sets, QFT, GR, QM) using clear tables· Highlights the crucial distinction: the Canvas Model derives all 50 phenomena from its postulates, while every other framework derives none—their fundamental equations are postulated, not derived· States testable predictions (no singularities, Planck-mass dark matter remnants, modified dispersion)· Acknowledges open problems honestly (cosmological constant asymmetry, specific masses and mixing angles, hierarchy problem)
What this position paper is NOT:
· A technical derivation (full step-by-step derivations are in Emergence Paper I)· A compatibility study (those are in Emergence Papers II–VIII)· A complete account of every phenomenon (the series is eight papers plus primitives)
Who this is for:
Physicists, philosophers of physics, and anyone interested in foundational approaches to unification. Read this first to understand the Canvas Model. Then read the technical papers for the derivations.
Why it matters:
No other framework — not string theory, not loop quantum gravity, not causal sets — combines all of:
· 100% compatibility with all known physics· Step-by-step derivations of fundamental equations from first principles· Four independently solved century-scale open problems· Discrete spacetime· Background independence· Testable predictions· Resolution of foundational problems (measurement, singularities, information paradox)
The Canvas Model is the only framework that derives the laws of physics rather than postulating them. Other frameworks take the laws as given and calculate consequences. The Canvas Model explains why those laws hold. This position paper is your starting point.
