资源简介:
In the Jailo-Challabamba field, located in the province of Paucartambo, Cusco, 283 native potato varieties were planted using zero-tillage practices to promote sustainable agriculture. Agronomic management activities included Yapuy (general maintenance), Jaimay (first earthing-up), and Qasuy (final maintenance), adhering to traditional farming methods. The experiment focuses on evaluating the morphological characteristics of native potatoes, such as tuber traits (size, shape, and skin color) and flower attributes (petal color and morphology). The primary objective of this study is to assess the agronomic performance of these varieties under sustainable management conditions. Additionally, the research emphasizes the importance of conserving genetic diversity while enhancing agricultural practices that are vital for rural communities in the Paucartambo region.
