Neuston tows were made during 4 juvenile salmonid trawling cruises off coastal Oregon and California, 2000 and 2002. GLOBEC NEP Process Study

Zooplankton sampling was conducted in conjunction with a juvenile salmonid trawling survey in years 2000 and 2002 off coastal Oregon and California. Sampling was conducted using a neuston net with a 1-m wide by 0.3-m high mouth and 0.333-mm mesh.

Four ship cruises, two each in 2000 and 2002, sampled along 22 cross shelf sections (6 mesoscale and 16 fine scale) having overall boundary conditions of 41.5N - 45N and 124.2W - 126.2W.

Data reported at the genus/species level are life stage and abundance.
