rDNA chimeric mutant of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and its suppressor

The 25S rDNA of Saccharomyces cerevisiae is replaced by corresponding sequences of Candida albicans, and it showed low growth rate. By screening, one suppressor strain is got. Using the two strains, we try to better understand the mechanism of rDNA in ribosomal biogenesis.
