VDA 4504 Electrostatically Dissipative Small Load Container (SLC) System (KLT)

Part 1 of this non-binding recommendation defines a standardised plastic small load carrier system for bulk and placeable goods suitable for mechanised and manual handling for use in the automotive industry in goods traffic between suppliers, service providers and vehicle manufacturers. The recommendation is the result of a project of the VDA Center of Competence (CoC) Packaging.
Part 2 of this non-binding recommendation explains the procedures for VDA approval, certification and quality assurance by manufacturer of VDA KLT system elements that conform to VDA Recommendation 4504.
