Host-associated transcriptome of Azoarcus sp. L1K30 under an environmental condition

Azoarcus is a genus of bacteria that includes species known for their association with plants, particularly grasses, for example, Azoarcus sp. BH72. Their role in plant health relative to the host ecosystem however remains poorly understood. To identify the putative transcripts important for the host interaction, we characterized a novel Azoarcus strain, Azoarcus sp. L1K30 and assessed its transcriptomic response during the colonized and non-colonized state with its host plant, pokkali rice under seawater-amended conditions
