Digital nomad visa income requirements by country, October 2026: ranking of 30 official thresholds (MyNomadWorld)
收藏资源简介:
Of 30 countries with a digital nomad visa and an official minimum income in October 2026, the median threshold is about €3,000 a month. The lowest are Ecuador (about €1,300 a month), Brazil and Mauritius (about €1,350). The highest are South Korea (about €5,850 for applicants aged 35 or over in the Seoul capital region; its lowest tier is about €2,950), Romania (about €5,350) and Japan (about €4,750). Spain sets 200% of its 2026 minimum wage, which works out at €2,849 a month when the annual wage is spread over 12 months; some consulates apply it per monthly payment instead, about €2,442. Portugal asks for €3,680, four times its minimum wage. Several schemes that still appear in many online lists are closed or never existed as a remote work visa. Iceland repealed its long-term visa for remote workers in May 2026, Antigua and Barbuda ended its Nomad Digital Residence, and Bermuda stopped taking Work from Bermuda applications on 28 February 2025. The United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, Norway and Mexico have no dedicated digital nomad visa. What is in this record: a ranking table (CSV) of the 30 countries ordered by their approximate monthly threshold in euros, rounded to the nearest €50, with the threshold as each country sets it, plus summary rows (median, range, countries per band), a README and a methodology note. Every threshold rule was checked on 29 October 2026 against the government or official programme source of each country. Where a threshold follows a national wage, we used the latest wage figure published by that country. Euro amounts use the European Central Bank reference rates of 29 October 2026. Requirements change, and many thresholds follow a national wage, so check the official source before you apply. This is general information for comparison, not legal advice, and meeting the income figure does not by itself mean a visa will be granted. Prepared by MyNomadWorld.
