The purpose of the Medical Appointments and Credentials Sub-Committee (whose name was changed to the Medical Appointments Advisory Committee late in 1982) was to evaluate the credentials of possible appointees to the Hospital's medical staff, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors about the suitability of candidates for appointment. These Minutes are the original typescript record of the Sub-Committee's deliberations and recommendations, pasted into a large single-gathering booklet, the back of which holds a large quantity of inserted correspondence and documentation related to these deliberations. Each meeting's minutes are countersigned by the Chairman, to affirm that the subsequent meeting has accepted them as a true and correct record.
